GDPR Description – Tango Aalborg Festival 2026

The Tango Aalborg Association is the organizer of the Aalborg Tango Festival 2026, and is responsible for protecting your personal information. This description explains how we collect, use and protect the data we process in connection with ticket sales and the administration of the tango festival during the period 14-17 May 2026.

• Role (leader or follower): Used to plan workshops and ensure an appropriate balance between leader and follower.

• Workshop registrations: Used to administer workshops and waiting lists and ensure sufficient capacity.

• Preferred language of communication: Used to offer the best communication to participants.

4. How do we use your personal data?
Your personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Administration of ticket sales and festival registration.

• Implementation of the workshops you have registered for.

• Communication regarding the festival, including program changes and practical information.

• Internal statistics to improve future events (data will be anonymized).

• Contract: The processing is necessary to fulfill our contract with you for ticket purchase and registration for the festival and workshops.

6. For how long time do we keep your personal data?

Your personal data is stored in accordance with applicable law.

• Ticket sales data is stored until the festival has ended and any complaints have been processed. After that, the data is anonymized and deleted.

• Workshop registrations are stored until after the festival to ensure proper processing and evaluation.

• Email addresses are stored as long as you are subscribed to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure or destruction. This includes technical and organizational measures.
